BETTY’S STORY:

Betty was born into a single parent family. Her father passed away while her mother was pregnant with Betty. Though her family was very poor, Betty was able to complete secondary school. Finding food was difficult for the family and Betty and her siblings were often limited to a single meal each day. Betty often worked at construction sites carrying building materials. She is thrilled to now have a place with Handspun Hope. She is happy to have the opportunity to help her family and believes her future is bright.
